Create a Whole Cast: How to Build 3–4 Fictional AI Characters Who Look Different

One character is a good start. A small cast lets you tell stories — friends on a trip, rivals at work, a band, a group at a café.

The difference rule: Each character must differ in at least 4 of these: hair colour, hair length, eye colour, face shape, style, temperament. If two characters differ only in outfit, the AI (and your audience) will confuse them.

Example cast sheet:

  • Elena, 29 — long dark hair, brown eyes, elegant style, calm
  • Aiko, 27 — short black bob, anime style separate series, energetic
  • Sarah, 33 — blonde waves, green eyes, business style, confident
  • Priya, 30 — long black hair in a braid, warm smile, traditional-meets-modern style

Workflow: Finish and save one character completely before starting the next. Name your saved files by character name, never “image1, image2”. When you make a group scene, generate each character from her own saved reference.
